How it works
1. Questions are generated
Talkom writes questions from the product’s own data, such as its description, variants, price and availability. They’re written in your store’s language.
2. The shopper clicks one
The AI Assistant opens with the product already attached, so there’s no need to explain which product they mean.
3. Talkom answers
The answer comes from your product data and store information. The shopper can keep asking, or add the product to the cart.
What it’s useful for
- Questions about fit and suitability, such as “which length should I choose?”
- Care and use, such as “how should I care for it?”
- Occasions and gifts, such as “is it suitable for special occasions?”
Setup and measurement
You add it to your product pages from your theme editor, without code. The Workspace analytics show how many times suggestions were shown to shoppers, alongside product clicks, carts and orders.

What is Ask About Products?

Do I have to write the questions?
No. Talkom generates three questions for each product from its product data.
Can the answers be wrong?
Answers are based on your product data and store information, and Talkom only suggests questions that information can answer where possible. Like any AI, it can make mistakes, so you can review conversations in the Workspace.
Do I need the AI Assistant as well?
Yes. Ask About Products opens the AI Assistant with the product attached, so the two work together.
